Jackie is a bilingual Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who began her career volunteering in the Child Life department at Miami Children's Hospital, in 2007. It was there that she developed a passion for helping children. Jackie later discovered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and loved that she could make a difference in the lives of others through the application of science.
Since then, Jackie has worked with children and adults with a wide array of developmental disabilities and disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other neurological conditions. She has great success working alongside parents, teachers, and therapists from other fields to help her clients reach their highest potential. By implementing the principles of ABA, Jackie decreases maladaptive behaviors and increases functional behaviors to improve the quality of life of her clients and their families.
Jackie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and completed her Master of Science degree in Counseling, with a concentration in Advanced Applied Behavior Analysis, with highest honors, from Nova Southeastern University in 2015.
Sasha is a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children with behavior challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social skills deficits, anxiety, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Conduct Disorder, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Sasha first entered the field of ABA in 2011, as a Verbal Behavior Therapist, providing center-based and home-based ABA therapy to children with a diagnosis of autism and other related developmental disorders. She has experience working in a school setting, as part of the Special Education (S.P.E.D) team, providing training and support to educators and school staff; conducting observations and functional behavior assessments (FBA); and developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIP) and IEPs.
As a child and family therapist, Sasha strongly believes in play-based learning, fostering independence, and maintaining consistent boundaries and expectations. She guides parents in implementing evidence-based skills to ensure that the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of their child are being met.
Sasha completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Florida International University in 2012. She earned both a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2015. She currently works in her private practice with children and families in the context of individual, couples, and family therapy.
Saira Khan is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Miami, Florida. Saira obtained her Master of Art degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of South Florida receiving a 4.0 GPA in her masters level coursework. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology at Florida International University. Saira has a passion for helping children with special needs fulfill their utmost potential. She believes each child she serves should have individualized treatment to meet their specific needs. During her time in the field, she has worked with children and adolescents with autism and intellectual disabilities in a variety of settings including the school, home, clinic, and community. Saira’s areas of interest lie in functional living skills, natural environment teaching, and increasing verbal communication.
Tancy is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is fluent in English and Spanish. Tancy has been working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for 9 years. She has extensive experience working with children in the Autism Spectrum ages 2-15. She began accruing her practicum hours in 2013 as a Behavior Assistant (BA) in the Florida International University (FIU) Autism Spectrum Disorder Summer Treatment Program. She also joined the Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program at FIU for one semester. In 2014, she became a Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) and continued to provide one to one services as well as gained experience supervising cases. Tancy pursued a Master’s degree in Professional Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and graduated in August 2020. She became a BCBA in October 2020. Tancy found her passion in ABA and not a day goes by without feeling grateful for being part of this mission of helping children achieve significant outcomes, improve their quality of life, and reach their full potential.
Damaris is a dedicated and passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) committed to making a positive impact on individuals' lives through the application of Science. She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology. Her journey in the ABA field began when a close friend's son received a diagnosis of Autism. She witnessed first-hand how ABA was able to enhance the quality of life for the child and his family.
Since then, she has had the privilege of working in various settings, including schools, clinical environments, and community-based programs. She recognizes the importance of working collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to create a comprehensive behavior support plan. Her mission is to contribute to the improvement of individuals' lives by promoting positive behavioral change, fostering independence, and cultivating environments that support growth and well-being.
Lina is a Bilingual Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who earned her bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida. She completed her Master of Arts in Development Disabilities with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Nova Southeastern University.
Lina’s passion for working with children with special needs began while working with Youth Arts Enrichment (YEP) Grants Program in the Miami-Dade County School District. She helped various children with autism and related disabilities with their therapeutic dance and movement program. Furthermore, she received her certification in Autism Movement Therapy.
Lina specializes in the development, implementation, and supervision verbal behavior programs. She focuses on teaching and supervising the implementation of language, academic, social and play skills, as well as functional living skills. In addition, she conducts parent and therapist training with the utilization of behavioral analytical principles and effectively implements toilet training programs.
Lina maintains her knowledge and strengthens her skills by regularly attending workshops and conferences as well as keeping up with the latest research. She is a member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis.
