Academic Tutoring

In addition to ABA therapy, Peak Therapy Center provides private academic tutoring services to children and adolescents with or without a diagnosis of autism. 

When children are falling behind academically they often feel frustrated, ashamed, and isolated. Often times these feelings may lead to acting out and other undesired behaviors in and out of the classroom. By identifying gaps in foundational academic areas, we work with children and adolescents to improve their academic performance. 

We keep learning fun and engaging by providing reinforcers and praising all successes- big and small! We also avoid student burn out by tailoring the way we deliver instructional material, providing praise, and providing adequate breaks.
